  Great food at a great price. Can get a little busy very fast as there aren't that many seats available. Would recommend booking in advance instead of just a walk in.

  As a Port Dover resident, I do my best to support local businesses, but for Scholfields I will make an exception. I ordered a Cesare salad and the "rack" of lamb. Before I ordered I asked if the salad dressing was house made or bottled and was told it was made in house. After one bite it was clear that it was from a bottle. If I wanted that, I could have stayed home. The $32.00 "rack" of lamb consisted of four microspcoic lamb chops. When I voiced my discontent to the waitress she ignored me. When she came back I said I wanted her to tell the owner I was unhappy, she said he was in the kitchen and she would. When she came back she told me that in the future they were going to seek out a new supplier of lamb so they could offer bigger portions. That's great for people that eat there in the future, for me it was the worst $186.00 I've ever spent in a restaurant. Bottom line, there are better restaurants in Port Dover, restaurants that will actual address your concerns.

  Ate here three (3) times over a weekend - two dinners, one breakfast. Excellent food. Fresh ingredients, excellent sauces, and meats cooked to perfection (prime rib and pork chop). Don't be scared to ask for extra sauce on the side! Good variety on the Kids menu. My son loved the fettuccine alfredo! Service was excellent 2/3 visits. Ask about the dinner special. If it's the prime rib, get it. You will not be disappointed! Make a reservation to ensure you get a table.
